Accuracy Landing Competition is a 3 day event taking place on May 22-24, 2010 (Saturday – Monday). Paragliding pilots are judged in accuracy as they try to target land in the centre of a particular target. Pemberton Monkey Races are individual cross country tasks in which all pilots can participate. Those events are organized by Denis Rumyansev at Mckenzie and upper launch daily. Scoring by Tonya www.skycountry.ca. Media is invited to come along.
XC Gaggle Fly to Goal is an attempt to fly far in gaggle in order to explore XM potential in and around Pemberton. Great flights have been made to Harrison Hot Springs, Meager Creek, Lilooet and Squamish. This event will be supported by chase vehicles. Freestyle sessions on Lilooet Lake – Ted Shred with his awesome tow boat will be towing every day during the course of the event. This is a great and safe environment for all those pilots that wish to improve their freestyle skills. Coaching and SIV courses will be provided. There will be a safety boat on a standby to.
Commercial Tandem Flights will be available at the festival.
